Caroline Powers is a news anchor and reporter. Caroline began her career with 9&10 News as their chief Traverse City bureau reporter, covering more than five counties across northern Michigan on a daily basis. Her storytelling journey then took her to WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News where she worked as a multimedia journalist at Connecticut's top rated local news station. Caroline then traveled north to Springfield, MA where she currently anchors the weekend morning newscasts, is a general assignment reporter and produces a monthly segment called 'Salute to Veterans.'

 

Caroline has a passion for every part of working in news. From being the first on scene of breaking news, to getting an exclusive interview - she puts her heart and hard work in to every story. Caroline understands the importance of being a trusted source in the community. She maintains a strong social media presence and always meets deadline.

Caroline has organized one-on-one interviews with top political leaders like Vice President Mike Pence one day before he and President Trump were elected, as well as Sen. Bernie Sanders during his campaign for the Democratic nomination. She's reported court side at University of Connecticut basketball games. After the tragic death of U.S. Navy Blue Angels Capt. Jeff Kuss, Caroline was part of welcoming the team back to the skies for the 90th National Cherry Festival and had the chance to fly with the iconic crew. She's also flown with the U.S. Coast Guard and traveled to Washington D.C. with Michigan veterans for the Mid-Michigan Honor Flight.
